The CHED Commissioner, at the same time CSU BOR Chairman Designate, Hon. Jo Mark M. Libre visited CSUCC last July 30, 2022. The said visit aimed at discussing the university’s best practices and for the commissioner to personally hear the current issues/problems the university is facing.
The engaging activity was participated by Dr. Nelson Cabral, President of ZPPSU ; Ms. Lilia Vesorio of ZPPSU; Mr. Renie Lareta of ZPPSU; Dr. Jaime Jalon, President of ZSCMST ; Mr. Alvin Reyes of ZSCMST ; Dr. Joy Capistrano, President of ASSCAT; Ms. Stephany Condez, EA of the Office of Commissioner Libre; and Mr. Leoneil Isidro of ZSCMST. Also, present during the meeting were the CSU Key officials headed by the University President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso and CHED Regional Director, Dr. George Colorado.
It was an honor for CSUCC to have been visited by the Commissioner. Although the visit was brief, it was fruitful since CSUCC was able to relay their main issues and worries, which were discussed and given attention by the CHED Commissioner during the meeting.
