CSUCC takes on another online AACCUP Level III Program Accreditation last October 19-22, 2022. The programs under survey were the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management and Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education. The three-day accreditation had given the University the opportunity to present its strength and weaknesses in order to improve its services in pursuit of excellence.
The overall coordinator for the survey is Prof. Nestor C. Competente of Rizal Technology. The team leader for the Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education is Dr. Edilberto Z. Andal of Laguna State Polytechnic University and the team member is Dr. Ronnie G. Torres of Isabela State University. For the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, the team leader is Prof. Arnold L. Alburo of Isabela State University and the team member is Engr. Mary Anne H. Sahagun. As for the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management, the team leader is Prof. Ria T. Monsale of Iloilo Science and Technology University and the team member is Dr. Jossie B. Romero of Partido State University. AACCUP also sent Prof. Manuel D. Bede of Tarlac Agricultural University as the accreditor for the library.
During the 3-day online survey visit, the local counterparts were commended for their work, as mentioned by Prof. Nestor Competente “The local taskforce are very respectful, resourceful, innovative and responsive to the request of the accreditors.” He also added that the team recognized the invested time and effort of the programs under survey in achieving the university and widespread influence to its various stakeholders.
Although the local taskforce encountered difficulties and challenges while gathering data, the level III Program Accreditation Survey Visit was undoubtedly one of the most worthwhile and fruitful initiatives that CSUCC has undertaken.
